Night Garden, 2016

These nocturnal exposures respond to the challenge of photographing "all the light we cannot see." They are blind compositions, made without flash or supplemental lighting, made in the wild and deep darkness of the Quebec countryside where there is no ambient light at night. With exposure times ranging from seconds to hours, and an array of cameras from digital to pinhole, the project is left open to intuition, as the camera captures fleeting moments in time.
