These photographs are made with traditional black & white darkroom papers. The process, called "lumen printing," reveals latent colors when exposing the paper to light. This work is rooted in the question, "What is a photograph?" and makes a practice of marking time.
The work is divided into two chapters:
Lumen Notebook - Experiments in color and form exploring flux.
The Lumen Project - Large, collaborative, human meditation circles on photo paper. (See Installations)
